Safe Hand Transport didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in the field — over 13 years of working directly alongside individuals with disabilities, watching firsthand how something as basic as a ride to a medical appointment could become an impossible barrier.
The gaps were real. The need was undeniable. And so Safe Hand Transport was built not just to fill a market need, but to be a genuine solution for people who deserve better. We are a New Jersey-based non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) company, committed to serving individuals with disabilities, seniors, and anyone who needs compassionate, dependable transport throughout Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean, Somerset, and Essex Counties. Every ride we provide carries a simple belief: getting from point A to point B should never stand in the way of living your life.

Long before Safe Hand Transport became a business, our founder was already doing the work supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, coordinating care, and building a deep understanding of what accessible, dignified transportation truly means to the people who depend on it.
That experience isn’t a line on a resume. It’s the foundation behind every decision we make, every route we plan, and every passenger we serve. We’re also in the process of becoming a certified state provider in New Jersey expanding our ability to reach even more of the community we care about.
